For E-Scrutiny Mode selected candidates:

  • If any information about you is wrong in the Provisional Merit list, you can raise a correction request.
  • In this case, your application will be back to your login for Verification purposes.
  • You need to upload the required documents to prove and verify the correction you need.
  • To know about the status of your correction, you can log in to the portal and check for the latest receipt or notification about it.


For Physical Scrutiny Mode selected Candidates:

  • If you are a Candidate and want to correct your information offline then you need to raise a correction request to the FACILITATION CENTER’S(FC), where you already confirmed your application.
  • To prove the correction you need to submit the required documents at FACILITATION CENTER’S(FC).
  • You will get the receipt of Acknowledgement from the FACILITATION CENTER’S(FC).


Eligibility Criteria for Maharastra Polytechnic Admission

There are certain conditions students must verify before applying for polytechnic education.

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates,

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National.
  • Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks.

Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.

For NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National:

  • Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks.
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the rules.

How to Apply for Maharastra Polytechnic Admission?

You need to follow the following steps while applying for polytechnic education:

  • Go to the official website of Polytechnic education, “”.
  • You need to register as a “New Candidate” if you haven’t registered yet.
  • Fill the application form by uploading the required details and documents (including a scanned photograph and prescribed signature of the candidate) carefully.
  • Click on proceed.
  • Pay the application fee via online payment (debit/ credit/ net banking mode).

Application Fee for Maharastra Diploma Admission

If you are an aspirant to take admission in Maharastra polytechnic, you have to pay the Application fee during registration as per the category.

  • General category and candidates outside: 400/-
  • Reserved and PwD candidates from Maharashtra:  300/-

Allocation of Seats – Maharashtra Polytechnic

Counselling Process and dates:

The counseling process of Maharashtra Polytechnic Admissions 2020 has begun on the 10th of August,2020. After the declaration of the final merit list, candidates will have to participate in the choice filling procedure which will be available in each round of counseling.

Stage 1: All the seats will be allocated according to the Merit List.

Stage 2: Among the male and female candidates, the seats will be allocated to the male candidates if the seats remain vacant after allocating to the female candidates.

Stage 3:  If you are an SBC Candidate, Seats will be allocated to you,  if remaining vacant after allocating to OBC candidates.

Stage 4:  In this stage, the seats will be allocated to religious groups of the OBC category.

Stage 5:  On the 5th Stage of counseling, The seats will be allocated to all the candidates of the OBC category.

Stage 6: At the 6th Stage, the seats will be allocated to all the candidates with physical disabilities.
